In my case study How to make money with a proxy I will show you how to make money online by using a proxy website.

I have purchased my domain name. I registered fbuster.com at 1and1 as the domain name for my proxy, . This name met the criteria for choosing a proxy domain name. It doesn’t contain the word proxy, easy to remember, and spell. These are important to remember when choosing your proxy. The target audience for your proxy will most likely be coming from a public computer, and will probably have to type this address in manually. Therefore being easy to spell, remember, and a dot com make it easy for users to type this address in manually when trying to access your site.

I have researched the different proxy scripts availabe and supported and chose to go with Glype. This script is very easy to set up, has many skins available, and also has many modifications available. These features will make it easy for me to make a great functional proxy for my users. The better my proxy works, the more people will come back and use the proxy again. This means more money for me. I like making money online!

In my next part I will have the proxy up and running, and talk about getting traffic to my proxy.
